Studio monitors, subwoofers and amplifiers.

About Dynaudio

Dynaudio makes its own drivers by hand at its factory in Denmark, about 1.4 million a year for its home hi-fi, custom install, in-car and pro studio speakers. The pro monitors use MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) drivers. The range has three parts: active studio monitors in the LYD, Core and classic BM ranges, the 9S and 18S subwoofers, and the Dynaudio Acoustics M Series of passive monitors for music control rooms and film and TV post-production, with Delta amplifiers to power them.

LYD and Classic BM Monitors

LYD is Dynaudio's personal reference series for smaller studios, built to stay accurate at low volume. The LYD 5, LYD 7 and LYD 8 are bi-amped two-way nearfields with 5in, 7in and 8in woofers. The LYD 48 is a three-way near- to midfield monitor with a 4in midrange and an 8in woofer. On every LYD, DSP controls adjust the bass extension, the sound balance and the tuning for placement near a wall. Each model has XLR and RCA inputs and comes in Black Satin or White Satin. The classic BM range continues with the BM5 MKIII, the BM6A and the larger BM15A, which drives a 10in woofer with 200 W.

Core Reference Monitors

Core is Dynaudio's high-end professional reference series. Each Core speaker is designed, tested and made in Denmark and calibrated on its own before it leaves the factory. Every model takes an analog XLR input and an AES3 digital input, with DSP settings to suit its position in the room. The Core 5 is the smallest, sized for tight rooms and for the width and height channels of an immersive set-up. The Core 7 is the larger two-way. Core 47 and Core 59 are three-way designs, and the Core 59 is the main monitor of the series with a 9in woofer. Core Sub and Core Sub Compact are sealed subwoofers with four and two 9in MSP+ Hybrid Drive woofers. The Core monitors come in Dark Grey.

9S and 18S Subwoofers

The 9S is a sealed subwoofer with a 9in long-throw driver, a 300 W amp and a double front baffle. Dynaudio designed it to complement LYD, the classic BM range and its other pro monitors. The 18S uses two MSP+ Hybrid Drive units and a 500 W amp. Its DSP holds a performance map for each Dynaudio Pro monitor, which turns a two-way pair into a three-way system.

Dynaudio Acoustics M Series and Delta Amplifiers

Dynaudio Acoustics speakers are passive and run from outboard amplifiers. The M1 MkII is a two-way near-field with two 18cm woofers, and the M2 MkII is a three-way near- to mid-field monitor in a small cabinet. The C3 MkII puts the components of the flagship M4 into a smaller box for small and medium rooms. The three-way M3 MkII, M3F and M3FX step up in size for music rooms and film and TV dubbing stages, and the M3F is built to stand behind a screen. The four-way M4 MkII is designed for large control rooms, and the M4 MkII Mini carries the same four-way design in a smaller package. MF15 and MF30 are surround speakers for immersive audio, and the MS15 and MS18 subwoofers suit immersive rooms including Dolby Atmos.

The Delta 40 and Delta 80 are 2U four-channel amplifiers rated at 4 x 1000 W and 4 x 2000 W into 4 ohms. The Delta 40 DSP and Delta 80 DSP add room-tuning EQ on every input and output, GPIO for remote control and wireless control from the DeltaDirect app for iPad.
