Description
The Dynaudio Acoustics DCA S800 is a 120V stereo power amplifier for Dynaudio's passive M-series monitors and subwoofers. Dynaudio pairs its DCA-series amplifiers with analog filter cards to run passive main monitors as active two-way systems. On the maker's speaker pages, this model appears as the DCA800.
Matched to the M-series
Dynaudio names the DCA800 for the M1 MkII, M2 MkII, M3 MkII, M3F and C3 MkII monitors and the MS15 subwoofer. For the M2 MkII, M3 MkII, M3F and C3 MkII, the recommendation calls for a DCA800 with filters. Dynaudio supplies the C3 MkII as an active two-way system with two DCA stereo power amplifiers carrying built-in crossover cards, or with a DA40 DSP. The M3FX, M4 MkII and M4 MkII Mini list the DCA800 or the DCA1400.
