Collection: Focusrite

Audio interfaces that deliver studio-quality sound at home.

About Focusrite

Focusrite has been building recording interfaces and preamps in High Wycombe, England since 1985. They're best known for the Scarlett series, which put studio-grade converters and preamps in the hands of bedroom producers and project studios worldwide. The company's heritage comes from Rupert Neve-designed console modules, and that DNA shows up in their preamp designs today. Focusrite interfaces dominate home and project studios because they sound clean, work reliably with every DAW, and don't cost a fortune. The Red and Clarett lines push further into professional territory with higher headroom and more I/O options.

Audio Interfaces

Focusrite's interface lineup covers solo artists recording vocals to full bands tracking drums. The Scarlett series remains their workhorse: the 2i2 is the best-selling interface in the world for good reason. It has two mic preamps with 56dB of gain, 24-bit/192kHz converters, and phantom power for condensers. The 4i4 adds MIDI and more outputs for monitoring. Clarett interfaces step up with Air mode, which models the high-frequency lift of Focusrite's ISA transformer preamps. The Clarett+ 2Pre and 4Pre include Adat expansion, so you can grow your I/O as your studio grows. Red interfaces sit at the top with 119dB dynamic range and eight Dante-enabled channels.

Preamps

The ISA preamp line carries Focusrite's original Neve-inspired topology. The ISA One is a single-channel preamp with a transformer on the input and variable impedance control, which lets you shape how your mic interacts with the circuit. It's built for engineers who want color and character, not just clean gain. The ISA Two and ISA 428 expand to two and four channels. These preamps work standalone or feed into your interface via line inputs. If you're tracking through a Scarlett but want a different flavor on vocals or bass, an ISA preamp gives you that option without replacing your whole signal chain.

Recording & Mixing Kits

Focusrite bundles interfaces with mics, cables, and software to get new producers recording immediately. The Scarlett Solo Studio pack includes a 2i2, a condenser mic, closed-back headphones, and a USB cable. You also get Pro Tools Intro, Ableton Live Lite, and a suite of plugins. These kits make sense if you're starting from zero and don't want to research every component separately. The bundles use the same interfaces sold individually, so you're not getting a compromised version. You're just saving time and getting a discount on the accessories.
