Description
The Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio 4th Gen is a complete recording bundle centered on the two-preamp Scarlett 2i2 USB audio interface, with the CM25 MkIII condenser microphone and SH-450 closed-back headphones included to get you recording immediately.
The Interface
The 2i2 provides two ultra-low-noise mic preamps with front-panel combo jacks that double as line and instrument inputs. Auto Gain sets your levels automatically, and Clip Safe runs a second A-D converter at a lower gain setting to rescue clipped takes. Two Air modes (Presence and Harmonic Drive) bring large-format console character to your recordings. The converters deliver 120dB of dynamic range at up to 24-bit/192kHz resolution.
Microphone and Headphones
The bundle includes the same CM25 MkIII cardioid condenser microphone and SH-450 closed-back headphones found in the Solo Studio, providing detailed tracking and honest monitoring right out of the box.
