Description
The Focusrite RedNet D64R is a 1U rackmount interface that bridges MADI (AES10) systems with Dante audio-over-IP networks. It supports up to 64 bidirectional channels at 44.1/48kHz, 32 channels at 88.2/96kHz, and 16 channels at 176.4/192kHz, with both coaxial (BNC) and optical (Duplex SC) MADI connections.
Sample Rate Conversion
Sample rate conversion on every input and output allows MADI and Dante systems to operate at different sample rates simultaneously. The D64R supports both standard (64-channel) and varispeed (56-channel) MADI modes, with automatic detection of incoming channel count and sample rate. Dual etherCON network ports and dual internal power supplies provide full redundancy.
