Description
The Dynaudio Acoustics M3F is a three-way main monitor for medium-size film and television post-production studios, designed to stand behind the screen. Its tall, narrow cabinet keeps the footprint small and leaves more room in the theater. With Dynaudio subwoofers and surrounds, the M3F forms an immersive system for Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment 7.1.4 and 9.1.4 and for full theatrical Atmos. It covers 35 Hz to 20 kHz and reaches 120 dB at 2 meters.
Drivers and Crossover
Two 300 mm MSP (magnesium silicate polymer) woofers with 100 mm ferrofluid-cooled voice coils handle the bass. Two 170 mm MSP midrange drivers with 75 mm voice coils cover the middle, and a D260H 28 mm soft dome in a short waveguide handles the top. A high-power passive crossover links the midrange and tweeter, and the system is driven as an active two-way, from Dynaudio's DA-series amplifiers with onboard DSP or from DCA-series amplifiers with analog filter cards.
