Description
The Dynaudio Acoustics DCA S1400 is a 120V stereo power amplifier for Dynaudio's passive M-series monitors and subwoofers, in the version with binding post speaker outputs. Dynaudio pairs its DCA-series amplifiers with analog filter cards to run passive main monitors as active two-way systems. On the maker's speaker pages, this model appears as the DCA1400.
Matched to the M-series
Dynaudio recommends the DCA1400 for the MS18 subwoofer, and it lists the DCA800 or DCA1400 for the M4 MkII, M4 MkII Mini and M3FX main monitors. For the M3FX, the recommendation calls for a DCA with filters. For the M1 MkII, M2 MkII, M3 MkII, M3F, C3 MkII and MS15, Dynaudio names the DCA800.
