Description
The Dynaudio Acoustics MF15 is a passive 2-way surround speaker for immersive music and post-production rooms, suited to Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment 7.1.4 and 9.1.4 systems. Its shallow cabinet fits smaller control rooms with low ceilings. A 24 cm MSP woofer and a 28 mm soft-dome tweeter cover 60 Hz to 20 kHz and reach 114 dB at 1 meter.
In an Immersive System
The MF15 works with any M-series main monitor, and its drivers match those in Dynaudio's screen speakers, so sound moves evenly around the room in Atmos mixes. Dynaudio limits its bass by design. That suits small rooms, and in larger rooms Dynaudio recommends bass management with an MS-series subwoofer. The speaker has no built-in amplifier and takes 100 to 500 W, with Dynaudio's 4-channel DA20 as the recommended amplifier.
Formats and Mounting
Dynaudio builds each MF15 to order in one of two formats, vertical (452 x 320 x 204 mm) or horizontal center (320 x 452 x 178 mm). Tell us which format you need when you order. Both formats use the same drivers and have the same acoustic specifications. Four M8 threaded inserts on the back, set in a 75 mm square, take a range of wall and ceiling brackets, and Dynaudio gives 1 to 5 meters as the listening distance.
