Pioneer DJ TORAIZ-SQUID DJ Multitrack Sequencer

The TORAIZ-SQUID is a 16-track multitrack sequencer with 64 patterns per track, 64 steps per pattern, and 8-note polyphony per step. It connects to DAWs, hardware synthesizers, modular systems, and drum machines simultaneously through MIDI, USB, CV/Gate, and DIN Sync.

Sequencing

The 16 velocity-sensitive LED pads support step programming and live keyboard input. Interpolation fills pitch, gate, and velocity between defined start, middle, and end points. Harmonizer generates chord progressions from a root note. Step resolution ranges from quarter notes to thirty-second notes, with up to 128 projects stored onboard.

Performance

Running Direction offers 48 playback directions. Speed Modulation periodically varies a sequence's tempo. Groove Bend adjusts trigger timing in real time via the onboard slider. Time Warp continuously records in the background, allowing you to recall and save phrases after the fact.
