Description
The AC15 Hand-Wired is a 15-watt all-tube combo built with hand-wired circuitry and custom transformers. VOX based it on an original 1963 copper panel AC15, and its power circuit recreates the voltage sag of that amp without the noise of a vintage unit.
The Normal channel has a Bright switch, and the Top Boost channel has its own Treble, Bass and Volume. A Boost switch, unique to the AC15 in this series, adds gain and midrange drive. This version uses a 12-inch Celestion G12M Greenback, which breaks up earlier and gives a warmer, more mid-forward voice.
