Description
The Pioneer DJ VM-70 is a 2-way active studio monitor with a 7" woofer for DJs and producers working in medium-sized rooms who need extended low-end reach without a subwoofer. Part of the VM series (alongside the 5.25" VM-50 and 8" VM-80), it bridges the gap between compact desktop monitoring and full-size nearfield listening with balanced XLR/TRS input and 96 kHz DSP processing.
Sound & DSP
A 7" aramid fiber woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter are each driven by dedicated Class D amplifiers (70W LF, 30W HF). The 96 kHz internal DSP handles crossover filtering and a switchable room EQ: choose flat response for mixing or a bass-forward club curve for DJ practice. The larger cabinet extends bass response down to 37 Hz without subwoofer reliance.
