Description
The Heritage Audio RAM System 1000 is a compact desktop monitor controller with a 24-step Marconi attenuator, two balanced analog I/O pairs, a headphone output, and Bluetooth (aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD, AAC, SBC). Inputs and outputs can be selected together, and USB-C supplies power.
Monitoring
The stepped attenuator keeps left/right tracking within a tenth of a dB. Mute, Dim, and Mono are on the panel, plus an input-level meter. Output 1 can be set to REC or MON so the same pair of jacks can feed a recorder or the speakers. Insertion loss is less than 0.2 dB on the analog path.
