Description
The Heritage Audio LANG 312L is a 500 Series microphone preamp with up to 90 dB of gain, transformer-balanced I/O (LANG and CineMag), a high-impedance DI, and a built-in Lifter that raises input impedance to 10 kΩ for ribbons and other low-output mics. The HA-880 op-amp at the core is footprint-compatible with classic 2520-style op-amps if you want to swap it later.
Gain for Ribbons
90 dB and -130 dBu EIN are aimed at ribbons and vintage dynamics that run out of gain on typical lunchbox pres. The DI is greater than 2 MΩ, high enough for piezo pickups. Maximum output is greater than +30 dBu into 600 Ω.
