Description
The Heritage Audio HA-609A Elite is a dual-channel transformer-coupled diode-bridge compressor/limiter. Each channel uses a fully discrete Class A path with three Carnhill St Ives transformers. A fast attack mode on both compressor and limiter, plus the Successor's matched diode-bridge gain-reduction cells, make it usable on individual tracks, groups, and the mix bus.
Controls
Rotary switches and stepped pots keep left/right tracking tight for stereo work and make settings easy to recall. Independent compressor and limiter sections let you set program leveling and peak control separately, with the fast attack option catching transients that vintage 609-style units often miss.
