Description
The Heritage Audio 73 DI 2 is a dual-channel active DI that puts a Class A JFET input and custom 73-style output transformers in front of your guitar, bass, keys, or drum machine. It runs from standard +48V phantom power, so it needs no wall wart on stage or in the rack.
73-Style Direct Path
Each channel uses the same discrete JFET front end found on Heritage Audio's 73 preamps, feeding a low-impedance custom 73-DI output transformer. High input headroom means it works on passive basses as well as hot synths, samplers, and electric pianos. A 15 dB pad and ground lift keep levels and ground loops under control.
