AlphaTheta DJM-V5 3-Channel Digital DJ Mixer

The AlphaTheta DJM-V5 is a 3-channel DJ mixer that condenses the performance features and sound architecture of the DJM-V10 into a more compact form. With a 4-band EQ per channel, 60 mm long-throw faders, three filter types including a new cross-pass filter, and a built-in SonicLink transmitter for wireless monitoring, it fits both club booths and home studios.

Faders & EQ

The 60 mm long-throw channel faders, inherited from the DJM-V10-LF, enable precise layering and blending. A new Soft Mix Curve gently reduces high frequencies as the fader rises when mixing in the next track, producing smoother transitions. Each channel has a 4-band EQ carried over from the DJM-V10.

Three Filter Types

• Low-pass filter (LPF)
• High-pass filter (HPF)
• Cross-pass filter (XPF): Preserves low-end energy while shaping mid and high frequencies, letting musical phrases stand out without disrupting the groove.

Send FX

Six types: Short Delay, Reverb, Shimmer, Tape Echo, PingPong, and Echo-Verb. A dedicated send knob on each channel controls effect level. The time knob adapts to each effect: click-stop behavior for BPM-synced effects (Short Delay, Tape Echo, PingPong) and smooth rotation for Reverb, Shimmer, and Echo-Verb.

Sound Design

96 kHz sampling with 32-bit A/D and D/A converters throughout the signal path (master, booth, send, REC out). The return input also uses high-grade conversion to minimize degradation when using external effects. Tuning was refined through extensive testing to match the sound character of the DJM-V10.

SonicLink Wireless Monitoring

The first mixer with a built-in SonicLink transmitter. Pair with HDJ-F10 headphones via button press or NFC for cable-free monitoring with ultra-low latency.

PRO DJ LINK & Link Cue

Connects to CDJ-3000X, CDJ-3000, and rekordbox for BPM-synced effects control. Link Cue lets you preview tracks without loading them and scrub the waveform of the currently playing track to listen to upcoming sections. A dedicated volume knob for cueing ensures smooth transitions from track preparation to playback.
