Description
The DOD Meatbox is a subharmonic synthesizer and octave pedal, an updated version of the 1990s original. It adds a low octave and synthesized sub notes under your signal, from a slight thickening to a heavy wall of low end. Use it on bass, extended-range guitar, synths and drum machines.
Octave and Sub set the levels of the low octave and the subharmonic, Low controls the deepest frequencies so they do not overwhelm your amp, and Output sets the volume. Depending on the output setting, it can also add distortion. The TRS output carries the effect on the tip and the dry signal on the ring, so a Y cable can send the low end to a PA and the dry signal to your amp.
Features
- Octave, Sub, Low and Output controls
- Synthesized subharmonic and low octave
- TRS output splits the effect and dry signals
- True bypass with a blue status LED
- Runs on a 9V battery or an optional 9V DC supply
