Description
The DOD Gonkulator is a ring modulator and distortion in one pedal, based on the 1990s original. The Frequency control tunes the carrier signal, from slightly skewed modulation to atonal, bell-like clangs and robotic sounds. A separate distortion circuit adds aggressive gain to mangle the signal further.
Gain sets the amount of distortion, Distortion sets the level of the distorted signal, Ring sets the ring modulation level, and Output sets the overall volume. The pedal has true bypass, a blue LED and a 9V DC power jack.
