Description
The Denon DJ Prime 4+ White is the special-edition white finish of Denon's flagship standalone DJ system. It runs Engine DJ entirely laptop-free across four decks, with a 10.1-inch HD multi-touch display, 6-inch jog wheels (10% larger surface than the original Prime 4), 16 RGB performance pads, integrated Wi-Fi for streaming, and a zone-output mixer section built for working DJs who actually need the booth, master, AND zone splits.
Standalone Engine DJ Workflow
Engine DJ runs natively on the Prime 4+ — no computer required, no host software dependency mid-set. Pre-prep your library on Engine DJ Desktop, drop it on USB or SD, and the unit handles waveforms, beatgrids, key analysis, loops, and cue points autonomously. Multi-source playback lets you pull tracks from four USB ports, an SD card, and Wi-Fi streaming simultaneously, while a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen gives you the same touch gestures as the laptop UI.
Streaming & Wi-Fi Library
Native streaming support covers Apple Music (via Engine DJ), TIDAL, SoundCloud Go+, and Amazon Music — log in once on the Engine DJ account, and your full library and playlists follow you. Wi-Fi also enables Engine DJ Cloud sync so prep done on your laptop reaches the unit before the show.
4-Deck Mixer & Zone Output
Each of the four input channels can be assigned as phono, line, or computer source, and the integrated mixer hosts dual XLR-1/4" combo mic inputs with independent EQ, talkover, and effects. The Zone output (XLR L/R) carries an independent program send — feed a back-bar or restaurant area a different mix from the main floor, all from the same gig. Master, Booth, and Zone all run XLR.
Performance Tools
Sixteen multi-color performance pads cover Hot Cues, Loops, Roll, Slicer, Auto Loop, and Sample triggers. Twenty-six onboard FX cover beat-synced delays, filters, reverbs, and stutter effects with per-channel dry/wet control. StagelinQ integration lets the Prime 4+ act as a DMX lighting controller for rigs running Resolume, SoundSwitch, or Lightkey.
