The Apogee Symphony Studio 8x8 is a 1U rackmount USB-C audio interface with eight microphone/line inputs and eight line outputs. The balanced I/O count suits tracking a band, a drum kit, or a multi-microphone room while still driving a surround monitor setup up to 7.1.
Inputs and Outputs
Eight mic/line inputs with up to 75 dB of preamp gain and +48V phantom power cover multi-microphone sessions without an external preamp rack. Eight balanced line outputs feed stereo or surround monitoring up to 7.1, and two headphone outputs can be addressed independently for performer and engineer cues.
Onboard DSP
Every input has a DSP channel strip with EQ and dynamics that runs on the interface, so you can monitor or record processed signal without plug-in latency. The outputs have their own DSP for Room EQ, per-output delay for speaker alignment, and bass management, which matters when the monitor setup is a surround or immersive array rather than a single stereo pair.
