United Studio Technologies builds vintage-spec recording tools in the USA, focused on classic circuit designs that shaped analog recording. Microphones
United’s microphone line centers on faithful recreations of studio classics. The UT FET47 pairs a Heiserman-designed HZ-Series capsule in the K47 tradition with a discrete FET circuit—delivering the presence and detail associated with that lineage at a fraction of what many vintage originals command. These are large-diaphragm condensers suited to vocals, acoustic instruments, and room miking. Careful parts selection and testing suit serious tracking straight out of the box. Direct Boxes & Reamplification
United’s Vintage Direct is a large-transformer passive DI; Replay Box uses dual transformer paths for reamplification with passive gain (no extra preamp needed for healthy levels). No wall wart on either—just iron, windings, and switches in the reamp path. That topology keeps transients and low-end weight while isolating grounds. Replay takes line-level from your DAW or recorder down to instrument level for driving amps, pedals, and processors. Roadworthy housings, built to live in the chain for years.
