About Toolroom

Toolroom Records is an independent house and tech house label based in Maidstone, Kent, founded in 2003 by DJ and producer Mark Knight and his brother Stuart Knight. The label started in a tool shed in a Maidstone garden, which is where the name comes from. By its 20th anniversary in 2023, Toolroom had grown to a staff of 22 and become one of the best-known independent labels in its genre. The Toolroom Academy education platform offers production courses and the Trademark Series sample packs, while Mark Knight's Toolroom Radio show keeps the label connected to the global house music community.

Infinite Plugin

Infinite is Toolroom Academy's first plugin, a macro-driven multi-effect built for transitional FX and delays. Mark Knight and producer James F. Reynolds designed it to handle the kind of sweeps, builds, and breakdowns that define modern house production. The plugin ships with over 40 presets and 9 modulation and production effects, and later added a Martin Ikin preset pack for additional sound design options. It's available in VST, VST3, AU, AAX Native, and AudioSuite formats. The interface uses macro controls to simplify complex effect chains, so you can dial in movement and texture without opening a dozen separate processors.
