About Synchro Arts

Synchro Arts is a London-based developer that has spent three decades solving one of audio post-production's most tedious problems: making vocal and dialogue takes match in time and pitch. Founded in 1994 by Jeff Bloom, the company introduced VocAlign in 1995 and turned automatic timing alignment from a manual, sample-accurate grind into a one-click process. Their tools originated in film ADR and lip-sync work, not music production, which explains why they prioritize surgical precision and transparent results over creative effects. Revoice Pro remains the go-to application for dialogue editors and vocal producers who need to transfer timing, pitch, and vibrato between takes without artifacts. Synchro Arts became part of LANDR Audio in 2021, but the UK development team and product lines continue unchanged.

VocAlign: The Time-Alignment Standard

VocAlign Pro and VocAlign Standard do one thing: align the timing of one audio track to another. You feed it a guide vocal and a dub, and it stretches or compresses the dub to match the guide's rhythm and phrasing. Music producers use it to tighten double-tracked vocals and harmonies. Dialogue editors use it to sync ADR to production audio. The Pro version adds tighter integration with Pro Tools and Logic, plus more control over alignment strength. If you record layered vocals or work in post, VocAlign saves hours of manual editing every session.

Revoice Pro: Full Performance Transfer

Revoice Pro 5 is the full application. It combines VocAlign's timing engine with pitch correction, vibrato modeling, and the ability to transfer pitch contours from one take to another. You can match a weak harmony take to a strong lead, fix timing and tuning in one pass, or build composite vocals from multiple performances. Film and TV mixers use it for ADR matching. Music producers use it to polish vocal stacks without losing natural phrasing. The interface is dense but logical once you understand the signal flow. Revoice Pro runs standalone or as an ARA plugin in supported DAWs.

RePitch: Transparent Pitch Correction

RePitch 2 Standard and RePitch 2 Elements strip out the performance-transfer features and focus on pitch correction. You get automatic tuning with adjustable correction speed, formant preservation, and vibrato control. The Standard version adds manual pitch editing and MIDI note input for melodic correction. Both versions prioritize natural results over the hard-tuned sound of some competitors. If you need to fix a vocal take without making it sound processed, RePitch handles it. The Elements version works well for quick fixes; Standard gives you the control to reshape a performance note by note.
