Electric guitars and basses.

About Schecter

Schecter Guitar Research has been building high-performance electric guitars and basses in California since 1976. Originally a parts supplier for custom builders, the company shifted to complete instruments in the late '90s and built a reputation around extended-range guitars, aggressive aesthetics, and player-focused design. Schecter guitars are known for fast necks, hot pickups, and solid hardware at accessible price points. The Diamond Series and higher-end USA Custom Shop models cover metal, hard rock, and progressive styles, with signature models from artists like Synyster Gates, Keith Merrow, and Nick Johnston.

Nick Johnston Signature Series

Nick Johnston's Traditional HSS and HH models bring vintage-inspired aesthetics to modern performance specs. The 10th Anniversary Traditional HSS comes in Atomic Green, Atomic Saffron, and Atomic Violet, with a roasted maple neck, stainless steel frets, and a custom HSS pickup configuration. The Traditional HH in Atomic Mercury swaps in dual humbuckers for thicker tones. These guitars balance classic Strat-style ergonomics with Schecter's attention to playability and hardware quality. Left-handed versions are available in select finishes.

Sun Valley Super Shredder

The Sun Valley Super Shredder line targets modern shred and progressive players. The FR S models feature Floyd Rose tremolos, Luminlay side dots, and Schecter's Sustainiac pickup system in finishes like Sea Foam Green, Riviera Blue, and Birch Green. The Exotic series steps up with figured wood tops: Black Limba and Ziricote add visual depth and tonal complexity. Hard-tail HT versions offer tuning stability for drop tunings and extended-range work. The PT FR S brings a single-cut body shape to the same spec sheet. These guitars are built for speed, sustain, and stage presence.

Damien Platinum Series

The Damien Platinum series covers 6-, 7-, 8-, and 9-string configurations in Satin Black. These guitars use EMG active pickups, thin C-shaped necks, and basswood bodies for aggressive, high-output tones. The Platinum-6 FR and FR S models add Floyd Rose tremolos. The Platinum-7 and Platinum-8 extend the range for modern metal and djent styles. Left-handed versions are available across most models. The Solo-II Damien Platinum offers a superstrat body shape with the same electronics and hardware. This series delivers consistent performance for players who need extended range and high gain without breaking budget.

SLS Elite Series

The SLS Elite line represents Schecter's higher-tier construction and materials. The Evil Twin models feature all-black hardware, Fishman Fluence pickups, and ebony fretboards across multiple body shapes: C-1, PT, E-1, V-1, and 7- and 8-string variants. The C-7 and C-8 Multiscale models add fanned frets for improved intonation and string tension across extended range. Blood Burst finishes bring quilted maple tops to the C-1, C-7, and PT models. The SLS Hollywood series in Supernova and Glacier finishes adds figured tops and custom inlays. These guitars are built for players who need pro-level specs and visual impact.

Omen Extreme Series

The Omen Extreme-II offers an entry point into Schecter's design language. Available in Nocturne Shadow and Gold Rush finishes, these guitars feature dual humbuckers, a tune-o-matic bridge, and a thin C neck profile. Left-handed versions are available. The Omen series balances affordability with Schecter's build quality and hardware standards, making it a solid option for players stepping into higher-output guitars.
