MusicNomad makes cleaning, care and setup products for musicians and repair techs. The company started in California in 2009 with a single guitar polish, The Guitar ONE, and now covers polishes and detailers, fretboard oils, humidifiers, string tools, and a full line of precision setup and fret tools. The formulas are biodegradable and free of silicone and petroleum distillates, and the tools are designed with working guitar techs. In Canada MusicNomad comes through SFM, so stock listed here ships from their Montreal warehouse within a couple of business days.

Cleaning and Polishing

The Guitar ONE cleans, polishes and waxes gloss finishes in one step. The Guitar Detailer is the all-purpose cleaner for both gloss and matte, the Guitar Polish and Guitar Wax are the two-step version, and Key ONE and Piano ONE cover keyboards and gloss pianos. The 120mL bottles are the standard size and the Tech sizes are the 240mL and 355mL bottles for shops. Cloths come in plush and suede microfiber, flannel, and the edgeless detailing towels. There are matching cleaners and care kits for drums and cymbals, brass and woodwind, ukuleles, pedals, amps and cases, and vinyl records.

Fretboard and String Care

F-ONE Fretboard Oil is the fretboard cleaner and conditioner, made from tree and seed oils with no lemon oil. FRINE Fret Polish and the Tracers kit take care of the frets themselves, with Grip Guards to protect the wood while you work. String Fuel cleans and lubricates strings, Tune-It lubricates nut slots and bridge saddles, and the Nomad Tool cleans under the strings. These come as singles or in the Guitar Care, String Care, Total Fretboard Care and Guitar Spa kits.

Humidity Control

The Humitar is the soundhole humidifier for acoustic guitars, with the Humitar ONE adding a hygrometer, the Humitar Case version for the case, the Humilele for ukuleles, and the Hone as a standalone hygrometer. The Humid-i-Bar is the replacement sponge for all of them.

Setup and Fret Tools

For setups there are the String Action Gauge, Fret Rocker+, Truss Rod Gauge, Nut Height Gauge and Radius Gauge Set, sold on their own or in the 6-piece Setup Gauge Set and the KISS Starter Kit. Truss rod wrenches cover 4mm, 5mm, 7mm, 1/4in and 5/16in, with an 11-piece set and the Neck Relief kits for Gibson, PRS, Martin and Taylor. Fret work is covered by the diamond-coated Nut Files in 16 sizes, the L-Beam fret levelers in 7in, 17.6in and 24in, the Fret Shield protectors for each scale length, and the B-File, E-File, S-File and U-File for beveling, end dressing, crowning and single-fret leveling. The 18-piece Fret Tool Set is the full kit. The Grip Winder, Grip Cutter, Grip Puller and Grip ONE handle string changes, and the Work Mat, Cradle Cube and Work Station give you somewhere to do it.
