About Longsqin

Longsqin is a Beijing-based developer founded by producer Chen Qinyang. The company is known in China as the first domestic producer of an orchestral string sample library. Their flagship product, Qin Strings, was recorded at Jintian Recording Studio in Beijing with an 8-6-4-4-2 string section and engineer Wang Xiaosi. The library runs on Native Instruments Kontakt Player and ships with full NKS support. Chen Qinyang supervised the recording and tracking stage, where samples were amplified through an SSL console and EQ'd before capture. The result is a string library voiced specifically for pop music production.

Qin Strings

Qin Strings delivers an orchestral string ensemble tailored for pop and contemporary production. The library was sampled at Jintian Recording Studio, described as Beijing's largest orchestral recording space, and includes articulations designed for melodic writing and harmonic beds. Trill intervals switch between minor and major second via MIDI CC4, while vibrato speed and depth respond to CC11. The library is distributed as an official Native Instruments Kontakt Player library, so you receive an activation code redeemed through Native Access. It requires Kontakt or Kontakt Player 7 or above. The focus here is practical: string sounds that sit in a pop mix without extensive processing.
