About Lenbrook Media

Lenbrook Media Group is a Pickering, Ontario-based audio technology company that emerged in 2024 as a business unit of the Lenbrook Group, the parent behind NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, and Bluesound. The company owns and develops the MQA and SCL6 hi-res audio codecs and the BluOS multiroom streaming platform. Studio tools ship through its MQA Labs unit. In May 2025, MQA Labs released Inspira and Endura, two DAW plugins for controlling time-domain smearing, noise shaping, and dither in recording, mixing, and mastering. Those plugins process audio inside the session. They are not MQA encoders and they do not prepare a file for an MQA decoder.

Inspira

Inspira is built for recording and mixing. It realigns impulse response so transients keep their attack instead of spreading into pre-ringing after analog-to-digital conversion. A Clarity control handles that time-domain work. Separate noise-shaper and dither options, including Air and Psy curves, keep resolution as you work through the session. Place it on tracks or buses when you want conversion artifacts handled early, not at bounce.

Endura

Endura is the mastering counterpart. It belongs on the output bus as the last processor, after the master fader when the DAW allows it. Align and Depth control temporal smearing. A Learn mode measures the mix's noise floor and suggests a custom noise-shape curve. Endura exports WAV and FLAC, and it writes Assurance Metadata so you can confirm a bit-perfect bounce. Both plugins run as VST3, AU, and AAX on macOS and Windows and authorize through iLok.
