About DV Mark

DV Mark is an Italian amplifier manufacturer founded by guitarist and engineer Marco De Virgiliis. Based in Macerata, the company builds compact, high-wattage guitar and bass amps that prioritize portability without sacrificing tone or power. Their designs lean on Class D power sections and custom neodymium speakers to deliver serious volume in surprisingly small enclosures. DV Mark has built a reputation among touring players who need reliable, roadworthy gear that fits in tight spaces. The Little Jazz and Raw Dawg series have become go-to choices for jazz guitarists and rock players respectively.

Signature Artist Series

DV Mark collaborates with working guitarists to build amps tailored to specific playing styles. The DV Little GH 250 and DV Little GH 250 Tube are Greg Howe signature models, delivering 250 watts in a compact head format with Howe's preferred gain structure and EQ voicing. The DV Raw Dawg 60 and DV Raw Dawg EG are Eric Gales signature heads, designed for high-gain rock and blues tones with responsive touch dynamics. These aren't generic endorsement deals. Each model reflects the artist's actual touring rig requirements.

Jazz and Acoustic Amplification

The DV Little Jazz is a 1x8 combo built specifically for jazz guitar. It runs clean at high volume and handles the frequency range of archtop pickups without muddiness or harshness. The DV Jazz 12 steps up to a 1x12 configuration for players who need more low-end presence. The Markacoustic AC 801 P is a 50-watt 1x8 combo designed for acoustic instruments, with dedicated channels for piezo and microphone inputs. These amps handle the dynamic range and tonal clarity that jazz and acoustic players demand.

Cabinets and Speakers

DV Mark builds matching cabinets and replacement speakers to pair with their heads. The DV Gold 212V is a vertical 2x12 cabinet rated at 300 watts, designed to maximize stage presence without excessive width. The DV Neoclassic 112 Small is a compact 1x12 option rated at 150 watts. The DV Neo Speaker series offers 12-inch neodymium drivers in multiple impedance options and finishes. The DV Powered Cab 112/60 is a 60-watt powered cabinet that functions as a standalone monitor or extension cab.
