Warm Audio WA-87 R2 Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone Stereo Pair (Titanium)

The Warm Audio WA-87 R2 TS is a matched stereo pair of WA-87 R2 large-diaphragm condenser microphones in a limited-edition titanium-style finish. Each mic is manufactured with tight tolerances for consistent stereo performance. The WA-87 R2 is based on the classic U87-style circuit, with a custom CineMag USA transformer, NOS Fairchild transistor, K87-style capsule, and a nickel-plated brass body. Three polar patterns, 80 Hz HPF, and -10 dB pad per mic. Ideal for stereo drum overheads, piano, acoustic guitar, and room recordings.

The titanium-style finish on this stereo pair is a limited-edition cosmetic option; the internal circuitry is identical to the standard nickel and black WA-87 R2 models. The two microphones are manufactured with tight tolerances so their frequency response and sensitivity track consistently for accurate stereo imaging. Three polar patterns per mic (cardioid, omnidirectional, figure-8) allow the pair to be configured for XY, ORTF, Blumlein, and spaced-pair stereo techniques.
