Description
The Warm Audio Centavo is a faithful recreation of one of the most sought-after transparent overdrive circuits in guitar history. This limited edition features a custom-cast silver enclosure with tapered oxblood knobs. The circuit is identical to the standard Centavo.
The circuit uses TL072 op-amps, vintage-style diodes, and a charge-pump voltage regulator to match the original design. The Gain control features a late-breaking taper that provides a long range of clean boost before reaching overdrive, making the Centavo equally effective as a tone sweetener or a saturated rhythm drive. The Treble knob operates as an active high-pass filter centered at 400 Hz. A rear-mounted MOD switch extends the low-end frequency response on the lower strings for added bass-register drive. The Centavo uses buffered bypass to maintain signal integrity when the pedal is off.
