Warm Audio Pedal76 FET Compressor Pedal

The Warm Audio Pedal76 brings 1176-style FET compression to a pedalboard format. Built with an all-analog, fully discrete signal path and a custom CineMag USA output transformer, the Pedal76 delivers the fast attack, musical release, and harmonic richness of classic studio compression for guitar, bass, and live performance.

The compression controls replicate the studio 1176 layout: Ratio sets the compression amount, Attack and Release shape the transient response, Input drives signal into the compressor, and Output sets the final level. At lower ratios, the Pedal76 provides transparent dynamic control; at higher ratios with faster attack and release, it produces the aggressive, pumping compression heard on countless recordings. A vintage-style amber VU meter displays gain reduction in real time. The CineMag USA transformer is engaged only when using external 9V DC power (not on battery) and adds rich harmonic content to the signal. In high-gain mode, the transformer introduces audible overdrive on the balanced DI output for a gritty, colored tone. On battery power, the pedal still delivers FET compression but without the transformer coloration.
