Description
The Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus is an eight-output isolated linear power supply built around a custom ultra-low-noise toroidal transformer with separate balanced windings for every output. Isolating each section eliminates ground-loop hum and the tone-robbing interaction that occurs when pedals share a common supply, so vintage overdrives and modern digital pedals can run side by side quietly.
Unlike compact switching adapters that inject high-frequency noise into the audio path, Pedal Power 2 Plus uses audiophile-style linear regulation for stable, clean DC under real stage line conditions. DIP switches set voltage options and enable SAG on the dedicated sections. A 200W courtesy AC outlet on the rear powers an additional wall-wart or accessory from the same IEC connection so you are not hunting for a second outlet under the board.
Outputs
Outputs 1 through 4 supply standard 9V or 12V Boss ACA-compatible power at 100 mA each for classic stomps. Outputs 5 and 6 are high-current 9V/12V sections at 250 mA for digital pedals that pull harder than a battery. Outputs 7 and 8 add SAG control that can drop voltage to simulate a dying battery for vintage fuzz and distortion circuits that change character when starved.
