Description
The Universal Audio Apollo x4 Gen 2 is a 12 x 18 desktop Thunderbolt 3 audio interface with four Unison mic preamps, two Hi-Z inputs, and QUAD Core DSP for realtime UAD plug-in processing. It brings rack-style I/O count to a desktop chassis with elite-class Apollo X Gen 2 conversion at 24-bit / 192 kHz for Mac and Windows.
Unison Preamps and Monitoring
Four Unison mic preamps and dual front-panel Hi-Z inputs support realtime tracking through modeled classic preamps and amps. QUAD Core DSP runs UAD plug-ins at near-zero latency. Dual headphone outputs, alternate speaker switching, integrated talkback, Auto-Gain, Bass Management, Plug-In Scenes, and Apollo Monitor Correction powered by Sonarworks are controlled from the UAD Console app.
