Orders above $199 qualify for Free Standard Shipping.

Description
The Universal Audio Bock 251 is UA's flagship large-diaphragm tube condenser microphone, designed by David Bock after the classic ELAM 251 and built by hand at the UA Custom Shop in Santa Cruz, California. A German-made CK12-type capsule, a Cinemag output transformer and a new old stock ECC85 tube give it low-frequency response down to 10 Hz and higher SPL handling than a vintage 251. It is made for vocals and musical instruments.
Three Switchable Patterns
A switch on the mic body selects cardioid, omni or figure-8. The UA badge marks the front of this side-address mic, and the black part of the headbasket marks the rear. The mic runs from its own UA Bock 251 power supply over the included six-pin Tuchel cable and does not need phantom power.
