Its flexible engine lets you dial in anything from gritty bitcrushing to gentle tape wear, making it a powerful tool for shaping tone, texture, and personality.
With 20 specialized LOFI engine modes, you can explore everything from downsampling, bitcrushing, and harsh digital degradation to analog-style effects like wow, flutter, tape saturation, and vinyl wear. More experimental options—such as granular glitch, stutter, jitter, cheap filters, broken speaker simulation, and slow-down processing—allow for deep creative sound design and unexpected sonic twists.
LOFI also includes a robust set of controls such as Degrade, Slam, Drive, Frequency, Noise, and Tape Stop, letting you fine-tune the exact flavor of imperfection. Its architecture features a dedicated Filter section and an additional Finisher module, supported by over 100 production-ready presets to jumpstart inspiration or streamline your workflow.
