Description
The Two Notes Torpedo Captor X+ is a compact 100W reactive load box, stepped attenuator, True Stereo DynIR cab simulator, static IR loader, and post-FX unit for tube amps. This 8 ohm version adds Virtual Load Shaper and true stereo mic/IR placement over the original Captor X for direct-to-PA, recording, and silent practice.
Virtual Load Shaper and True Stereo DynIR
Virtual Load Shaper reshapes the post-load impedance curve so you can tighten, warm, or open the feel of the amp into the load without changing the cab. True Stereo DynIR lets you place and pan two mics or static IRs independently across the stereo field, or run dual mono with separate mic and post-FX per output. Thirty-two DynIR cabinets ship onboard, with 128 presets and Torpedo Remote editing over USB-C, MIDI, or wireless.
Attenuation and Outputs
Three attenuation steps (0 dB, -20 dB, -38 dB) cover stadium, club, and home levels into a real cab, or run fully silent into headphones and dual XLR. Post FX include stereo reverb, Twin Tracker, enhancer, multi-mode EQ, and noise gate. Front-panel Voice, Space, and preset access cover live tweaks without a computer.
