Description
The Tascam TM-90BM is a boundary condenser microphone designed for low-profile audio capture in conference rooms, recording studios, live stages, and houses of worship. Its flat, unobtrusive profile sits directly on a table or stage floor, picking up sound evenly from a wide area while its half-supercardioid polar pattern provides directional focus and rejection of off-axis noise.
The back-electret condenser element delivers a 50 Hz to 18 kHz frequency response well suited to speech and many musical instruments. A 3-position Bass Tilt switch gives quick control over low-frequency content, and the 140 dB maximum SPL allows distortion-free capture of loud sources such as drums. The included dedicated patch cable terminates in an XLR 3-pin male connector for easy connection to any mixer or preamp that supplies 9 to 52V phantom power.
