Description
The Tascam TM-80 is a cardioid condenser microphone designed and priced for home recording. Its 18 mm pure aluminum diaphragm and optimized internal circuitry deliver rich, full sound with reduced noise and distortion, making it a versatile choice for vocals, acoustic instruments, and guitar amps.
The cardioid polar pattern focuses pickup on the sound source in front of the mic while rejecting off-axis room ambience. With a maximum SPL of 136 dB, the TM-80 can safely handle loud sources like drums and amplifiers. A die-cast zinc housing provides durability, and the included shockmount, mini desktop stand, and 6 ft XLR cable make it ready to record right out of the box.
