The Tascam Sonicview 24XP is a professional digital recording and mixing console powered by a 96 kHz, 54-bit floating-point FPGA mixing engine. With 24 Class 1 HDIA mic preamps, built-in 64-in/64-out Dante networking, a 32-in/32-out USB audio interface, 32-track SD recording, three 7-inch customizable touchscreens, and 24+1 motorized 100mm faders, the Sonicview 24XP delivers the full-size mixing surface and expanded I/O needed for larger productions in touring, installed sound, recording studios, and broadcasting.

Processing and Sound Quality

The 96 kHz/54-bit floating-point FPGA mixing engine delivers no-compromise audio with ultra-low latency: just 20.8 microseconds (2-sample) mixing engine latency and 0.51 ms analog-to-analog throughput. The 96 kHz/32-bit ADC ensures pristine conversion from the 24 HDIA mic preamps, which accept input levels up to +32 dBu.

Mixing Architecture

Internally, the Sonicview 24XP provides 44 input channels (40 mono + 2 stereo), 4 stereo FX return channels, 22 flexible AUX/GROUP output buses (each with 31-band GEQ), a main L/R bus, and 4 loop-type FX buses. Seven custom fader layers, 18 assignable USER KEYS, module-assignable MASTER section, and 8 DCAs offer complete workflow customization.

Recording and Interfacing

A built-in 32-track SDXC recorder (pre-installed expansion card) captures multitrack audio at up to 96 kHz. The 32-in/32-out USB audio interface supports 32-bit/96 kHz operation for DAW recording. Built-in 64-in/64-out Dante networking with redundancy, DDM, and AES67/SMPTE ST 2110 interoperability provides seamless integration into any networked audio system. A second expansion slot supports optional MADI, additional Dante, AES/EBU, or analog output cards.

Control Surface

Three 7-inch color touchscreens with Tascam's VIEW (Visual Interactive Ergonomic Workflow) interface allow completely customizable layouts and direct parameter control. Twenty-four rotary encoders with color LEDs and 24 channel name LCDs (with input level and gain reduction metering) provide instant visual feedback across the full surface. Remote control is available via the Tascam Sonicview Control app for macOS, Windows, and iPadOS.
