Description
The Tascam MZ-372 is a 3U rackmount multi-zone mixer for permanent commercial installations in hotels, conference centers, restaurants, bars, and public facilities. It offers six stereo input channels with dual RCA and XLR mic/line inputs (19 total input sources), a dedicated front-panel mic input with ducking, and two redundant main outputs for reliable background music and announcement distribution.
Inputs and Routing
Six input channels each provide two pairs of RCA inputs and one XLR mic/line input (switchable), a gain trim, 3-band EQ, and a 60mm fader. Channels 2, 3, and 4 include a switchable phono preamp for turntable connection. A dedicated front-panel XLR mic input with 2-band EQ, level control, and automatic Talkover function handles paging and announcements, automatically lowering background music when the mic is active. Each channel can be freely routed to either or both main output zones.
Outputs
Two redundant main outputs deliver audio on both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connectors, each with independent volume control and stereo LED level meters. A sub output with level control and mono/stereo selection feeds a subwoofer or additional zone. Separate monitor and headphone outputs allow pre-fader monitoring of any input or output.
