Description
The Tascam Model 24 is a 22-channel analog mixing console with an integrated 24-track multitrack recorder and 24-in/22-out USB audio interface. With 100mm long-throw faders, 16 Ultra HDDA mic preamps, built-in effects, and a 7-band graphic EQ, the Model 24 is a complete solution for live sound, studio recording, and houses of worship that need no-compromise analog mixing with the convenience of digital multitrack recording.
Mixer
Twenty-two input channels with 100mm long-throw faders deliver precise, professional mix control. Channels 1-12 are mono with XLR/TRS combo jacks, a single-knob compressor, 3-band EQ with sweepable mid, and a 100 Hz low-cut filter. Channels 13/14 through 19/20 are stereo pairs with mic preamps and line inputs. Channels 1-2 include Hi-Z instrument inputs and insert points. A Sub Group section, 4 Aux sends, and a 7-band graphic EQ on the main output round out the mixing capabilities.
Multitrack Recorder
The internal 24-track recorder captures all 22 input channels plus the stereo master simultaneously in WAV format at up to 48 kHz/24-bit to SD, SDHC, or SDXC cards up to 512 GB. Overdubbing, punch-in/out, and flexible track routing make it easy to capture everything from a full-band live show to layered studio productions without a computer.
USB Audio Interface
As a 24-in/22-out USB audio interface, the Model 24 integrates directly with any DAW on Windows, macOS, or iOS/iPadOS. Route DAW tracks back through the console's analog signal path for summing and hands-on mixing with genuine analog warmth.
