Tascam MA-BT240 240W Mixing Amplifier with Bluetooth (Half-Rack)

The Tascam MA-BT240 is a compact half-rack mixing amplifier that combines Class D amplification, a built-in Bluetooth receiver, mic/line input with ducking, and two line inputs into a single unit for small to mid-sized commercial spaces. Supporting both low-impedance (120W x 2 channels at 4/8 ohms) and high-impedance (240W x 1 channel at 70V/100V) speaker systems, the MA-BT240 handles background music, announcements, and paging for restaurants, retail stores, offices, waiting rooms, and conference rooms.

Amplification

Efficient Class D amplification delivers high output from a compact chassis. In low-impedance mode, the amp outputs 120W per channel into 4- or 8-ohm speakers. In high-impedance mode, a single 240W channel drives 70V or 100V distributed speaker lines. The output section includes a 2-band EQ (treble and bass) and a high-pass filter to prevent distortion with high-impedance systems. Mono/stereo switching adapts the output to your speaker configuration.

Inputs and Mixing

A switchable Mic/Line input (front-panel combo jack and rear Euroblock) supports condenser and dynamic microphones, with a selectable ducking/paging function that automatically mutes other inputs during announcements. Two RCA line inputs connect external audio players. The front-panel Bluetooth receiver with its extendable RP-SMA antenna streams music wirelessly from smartphones and other devices. Dedicated front-panel knobs mix all inputs with signal and peak LEDs for level monitoring.

Installation

The half-rack enclosure fits on a desktop, shelf, or in a standard equipment rack with the optional AK-RM05 or AK-RS1 rack kit. A Euroblock terminal on the rear panel supports external volume controllers. A line output cascades to additional power amplifiers for expanded coverage.
