Description
The Tascam IF-MA64/EX is a 64-in/64-out MADI interface card for the Tascam expansion slot system. It adds both optical and coaxial MADI connectivity to compatible host devices including the DA-6400/DA-6400dp multitrack recorders and the Sonicview 16XP/24XP digital mixing consoles.
Dual MADI Connectivity
The IF-MA64/EX provides both optical (FDDI duplex SC connector) and 75-Ohm BNC coaxial MADI input and output. A coaxial MADI Thru connector is also included for daisy-chaining or signal distribution. All connections conform to the AES10-2008 MADI standard.
High Channel Count
At 44.1/48 kHz, the card supports up to 64 channels (48k frame, 56/64 channels). At 88.2/96 kHz, it supports up to 32 channels (28/32 channels per frame). A LOCK indicator on the card confirms valid input signal presence.
