Tascam IF-E100 Ethernet Control Card for CD-400U/MP-800U

The Tascam IF-E100 is an Ethernet control card that adds network-based remote control to the Tascam CD-400U multi-format media player and MP-800U multi-format player. Once installed, the host device can be controlled externally via Telnet over an Ethernet connection, enabling integration into automated AV and BGM systems.

Network Control via Telnet

The IF-E100 connects to a standard Ethernet network via an RJ-45 jack using 100BASE-TX. Control commands are sent over Telnet (port 23), allowing third-party control systems to manage playback, source selection, and other functions remotely. The companion IF-E100 Network Settings application (Windows/Mac) handles network configuration and discovery.

System Integration

With an IF-E100 installed, a CD-400U or MP-800U can be incorporated into networked systems for conference rooms, retail spaces, restaurants, and other commercial environments where centralized audio control is needed.
