Description
The Tascam IF-AN16/OUT is a 16-channel analog output interface card for the Tascam expansion slot system. It adds balanced analog outputs to compatible host devices including the DA-6400/DA-6400dp multitrack recorders and the Sonicview 16XP/24XP digital mixing consoles.
16 Balanced Analog Outputs
Two D-Sub 25-pin connectors provide 16 channels of balanced analog output (channels 1-8 and 9-16). The card supports 44.1, 48, 88.2, and 96 kHz sampling rates at 16 or 24-bit resolution. Pin assignments conform to AES59-2012.
Per-Channel Digital Attenuation
Each output channel has independent digital attenuation adjustable from 0 to -14 dB in 0.5 dB steps, providing fine-grained output level control without external processing.
Audio Performance
The IF-AN16/OUT delivers THD+N of 0.001% or less, an S/N ratio of 110 dB or higher, and a dynamic range of 110 dB or higher. Frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 48 kHz and 20 Hz to 40 kHz at 96 kHz.
