Tascam DR-10X Plug-On Micro Linear PCM Recorder

The Tascam DR-10X is a compact plug-on PCM recorder that connects directly to the XLR output of a dynamic handheld microphone, turning it into a self-contained recording system. Designed for ENG (electronic news gathering), journalism, and field applications, the DR-10X records up to 24-bit / 48 kHz WAV and MP3 audio to microSD/microSDHC cards while adding minimal weight and bulk to your existing microphone.

Plug-On Design

The DR-10X attaches directly to an XLR microphone connector with a locking mechanism that ensures a secure fit. It is designed primarily for dynamic microphones but can be used with condenser microphones connected to an external power supply.

Safety Track Recording

A dual-recording mode captures a safety track at a lower level simultaneously, protecting against unexpected volume spikes that might distort the primary track.
