Description
The Tascam DR-07X is a compact portable stereo recorder with adjustable unidirectional condenser microphones that can be configured in A-B (wide stereo) or X-Y (focused stereo) positions. Recording up to 96 kHz / 24-bit WAV and MP3, the DR-07X delivers high-quality audio for musicians, podcasters, journalists, and content creators who need a simple, reliable field recorder with USB audio interface capability.
Adjustable Stereo Microphones
The built-in unidirectional (cardioid) microphones rotate between an open A-B position for wide stereo capture and a closed X-Y position for tighter, phase-coherent stereo imaging. This flexibility lets you match the mic pattern to your source, whether recording a solo performer or a large ensemble. The microphones handle sound pressure levels up to 125 dB SPL.
USB Audio Interface
Connect the DR-07X to a computer via USB Micro-B to use it as a stereo USB microphone for live streaming, voiceover, podcasting, or songwriting. The built-in mics work as plug-and-play USB microphones without complicated driver setup.
