Description
The Tascam DP-006 is a compact, battery-powered 6-track digital multitrack recorder designed as a portable songwriting scratchpad. With two built-in omnidirectional condenser microphones, two 1/4" TS inputs for instruments and external mics, and a dedicated control layout with physical knobs, the DP-006 lets you capture musical ideas the moment inspiration strikes.
Portable Multitrack Recording
Record up to 2 tracks simultaneously with 6-track playback for layering vocals, guitar, bass, and other instruments. The analog-style interface with dedicated transport controls and level knobs makes operation immediate and intuitive, with no menus required for basic recording.
Built-In Microphones and Inputs
Two omnidirectional condenser microphones on the front panel handle voice and acoustic instrument capture without external gear. Two 1/4" TS jacks accept microphones, line-level signals, and Hi-Z instrument inputs for direct recording of electric guitar or bass.
