Description
The Tascam DA-6400dp is the dual/redundant power supply version of the DA-6400 64-channel solid-state multitrack recorder. Identical in recording capability to the DA-6400, the dp model adds a second power supply inlet for mission-critical applications where uninterrupted operation is essential, such as live broadcast, theater, and major event recording.
Redundant Power Supply
Two independent AC power inlets ensure that recording continues uninterrupted even if one power source fails. This redundancy makes the DA-6400dp the preferred choice for broadcast facilities, touring productions, and any application where a power interruption could mean lost audio.
64-Channel Recording
Records 64 tracks at 48 kHz / 24-bit or 32 tracks at 96 kHz / 24-bit in BWF format to an internal hot-swappable SSD. The included AK-CC25 caddy with 240 GB TASCAM SSD features USB 3.0 for direct file offloading to a DAW without the recorder.
Flexible I/O Options
Optional interface cards (sold separately) provide connectivity via MADI (IF-MA64/EX with redundant coaxial pass-through, IF-MA64/BN coaxial), Dante (IF-DA64), or AES/EBU (IF-AE16). The IF-MA64/EX maintains MADI pass-through even when power is lost, making it ideal for inline backup recording.
