Description
The Tascam DA-6400 is a 1U rackmount 64-channel digital multitrack recorder that records to an internal hot-swappable SSD drive caddy. Designed for live recording, event capture, broadcast, and DAW session backup, the DA-6400 records 64 tracks at 48 kHz / 24-bit or 32 tracks at 96 kHz / 24-bit in BWF format. Professional I/O options including MADI, Dante, and AES/EBU make it adaptable to virtually any production environment.
Hot-Swappable SSD Storage
The included AK-CC25 caddy with a 240 GB TASCAM SSD slides in and out of the front panel for quick media changes without powering down. The caddy includes a USB 3.0 jack so the drive can be connected directly to a computer for offloading BWF files to a DAW session.
Flexible I/O Options
The rear panel accepts optional interface cards (sold separately) to match your facility's digital audio infrastructure. Available cards include the IF-MA64/EX (coaxial and optical MADI with redundant pass-through), IF-MA64/BN (coaxial MADI), IF-DA64 (Dante), and IF-AE16 (AES/EBU).
